Charlie turned TEN!!!

Charlie had a birthday on Dec 27th and turned
T E N!!!

having a Sunday birthday is hard for a kid, but I think he felt loved and special on his birthday!

cards, messages, calls and gifts from near and far definitely helped him feel loved

and yes, his Doug the Pug obsession is still alive and well haha

as is his lego obsession!
this yacht from the Call's was a fun surprise and he loves to all people he got a yacht for his birthday!

he requested a very French breakfast of crepes and quiche!

after meetings and church, we played pin the donkey on the tail and wouldn't you know it, the birthday boy got his donkey smack dab on the tail!

for a special date, chris took Charlie to Panera on Saturday and then on his birthday we had prime rib and baked potatoes, followed by salted caramel Rice Krispies and "uncle Jacob's mochi"

the mochi was much easier to make the I thought it would be. Jacob made it once while we were visiting since he had it on his mission a lot in Korea. well, jack and Charlie have been asking for it ever since and that's what chuck requested instead of a cake.

Charlie also asked for money for his birthday so he could reach his goal of saving $100 throughout the year of 2020. he made it! so he celebrated by getting a new Mandalorian lego set, of course!

this year has had its ups and downs for Charlie, but we are so proud of him for sticking through challenges and becoming a better person. he's always been soft-hearted, creative, and a jokester and we love him so much for it!!! hoping the next decade for Charlie is as great as the first!
