after two years, we made it back to Florida this summer for a 2 week visit!
the two days of driving to Florida was fast and uneventful... although we did go crazy when we spotted our first Publix (yay!) and we did go crazy when we hit about the 6 hour mark and strange things happened, like this:
but the stir craziness was worth it!!!
family time is the best
the drive home was uneventful as well, just how I like it when Chris isn't with us. BUT grandma was so kind and she rode back with us and helped us with moving prep for two weeks. the only thing that happened on the drive was when Owen got a motorized toy stuck in his hair right on top of his head. at that point we were done stopping, so back went a pair of scissors and Ellie snipped it for us!
