hello blog, my old friend.
I haven't forgotten about you. no, you've been in the back of my mind for many many weeks, teasing and taunting me. so today is the day to get back at it because I have so much to share with you.
we moved!
those last few days before a move are crazy, but we made the most of it by having fun cereal (on boxes because, no table!) and even a quick last trip to the water park.
we had playdates and amazing dinners with our friends.
and then we said goodbye.
goodbye to the house was probably the easiest.
saying goodbye to our friends was hard.
we had so, so, so much help loading up. I never got thank you cards out for that, but THANK YOU EVERYONE who helped. we love you!
saying goodbye to our baby boy was the hardest though.
no matter where we live, we know he's there too.
but it was still hard.
then we hit the road!
.... only to have the van break down outside of Springfield, Missouri haha!
but we were definitely being watched over and received help all along the way, from our tow man to the car repair man that we were directed to. it all worked out so well and we were on the road again the next morning.
and we made it!
here's our new rental house, a cute little ranch on some hills covered in big trees
and the best part about living in Granville, OH...
our cousins are close by!
we were even able to squeeze in a sleepover before school started!
